Debtors Controller
Donavan is passionate about financial accuracy and customer relationship management and takes pride in ensuring timely collections while maintaining professional rapport with clients.
In his role as a Debtors Controller, he is responsible for overseeing the full debtors’ function. This includes processing and reconciling invoices, managing large accounts receivable ledgers, following up on outstanding payments, and resolving billing discrepancies. He works closely with both internal teams and external clients to ensure efficient credit control and reduce aged debt.
Key responsibilities and achievements include:
• Maintaining debtor days well within the company’s targets.
• Implementing improved collection strategies that resulted in a significant reduction in overdue accounts.
• Producing regular aged debt reports for management review and assisting with audit preparations.
• Handling high-volume collections while maintaining excellent client relationships.
