Q: Why should I invest in Cyprus as opposed to another more recognisable property market?

A: Cyprus is consistantly one of the top performing property markets in Europe and is still playing catch up with regards to its ‘competitors’ in terms of price. The island has one of the lowest levels of crime anywhere in Europe and has one of the best climates in the Mediterranean. Cyprus is also strategically located between the Asian, African and European continents and is fast becoming a location for big business to locate their offices.

Q: But how can I communicate with anyone when I don’t speak Greek?

A: More than 90% of the island speaks English. The island has become truly cosmopolitan with people from all nationalities now living and working there. Cyprus has also got one of the highest numbers of degree qualified populations per capita in the world and has a literacy rate of 96.8%.

Q: What about the security of the Island as a whole?

A: Cyprus is now a member of the European Union and therefore has all the rights and protection as any other larger member states. Cyprus is also a member of the United Nations, The Council of Europe, the Commonwealth and much more.

Q: Isn’t Cyprus too dependant on Tourism?

A: Tourism is a big contributor to the country’s GDP but the island has now positioned itself as a player in the Service, Education and Property sectors in Europe. These are all sustainable industries with huge scope for growth and development and in fact are some of the major reasons as to why investors are looking to invest in Cyprus.

Q: Ok, so you have convinced me now, but how can I raise the finance to buy a property in Cyprus?

A: We will assist you in this regard. We offer a “one stop shop” type service for our investors. If you require finance then a deposit of up to 30% may be required to get a loan. All the usual documentation and paper work will also be required for an application with a Cypriot bank. Our team will also assist with the opening of bank accounts in Cyprus.

Q: What type of Property do you offer?

A: We offer a diverse range of properties for our investors and can cater for all types of requirements. From apartments, to resort type residences, Villa’s and even custom built Villa’s we can offer them all. If you are more interested in Commercial property then we can assist you there as well.

Q: What if I want to see what I am buying before I actually go ahead and buy? What will this cost me?

A: Heavily subsidised Inspection Trips can be arranged and are recommended. These are dependant of course on where you are coming from, the time of year and the length of your stay.

Q: What about the quality of the product? Workmanship etc?

A: We only market and sell new development properties from the best and longest standing developer on the island. The numerous awards and reputation of the company can easily be verified by anyone.
